Darty: 16% of total sales now from online business

The total group revenue from November 1, 2015, to January 31, 2016 increased by 2.6% and 4% when excluding Mistergooddeal.com. The like-for-like figures increased by 2.7%. Sales increased in all major product categories, with the exception of multimedia, a market which remained weak. Smartphone sales were particularly strong and TV sales recorded a second consecutive quarter rise. Online sales are up 12% (excluding Mistergooddeal.com). It now represents 16% of total product sales. This evolution is based on a growth of 53% of Click & Collect particularly in France, which reached a record level of 64% of online sales on Christmas Eve. The Black Friday weekend Sunday was the best of the year Darty.com recorded 1.4 million visits to the site the first day of the winter sales.
